Why do birds migrate?
Have you ever wondered why birds migrate?
Millions of migratory birds visit Australia each year from the Northern Hemisphere, and a lot of it has to do with weather and available resources. When it’s cold, their nesting areas and food supplies freeze over, so they fly Down Under for warmth and freely available food. Basically, they are seeking an easier life.
While not directly comparing people to birds, we are seeing the same migratory trend here within our own country.
Many people are currently choosing to move from the colder climates and busy streets of Sydney and Melbourne to the warm weather and relaxed lifestyles of northern NSW. More people are now working remotely, which means they can now live wherever they like.
What this all means is that the property market in Kingscliff, Casuarina and surrounds is booming. Houses, units and land are selling quickly at great prices. Rentals are being snapped up at above asking price due to strong competition. And with spring having hit, interest rates remaining low, and limited housing supply, the market will only continue to get stronger.
